It's that time again! First of all, as always I'd like to thank our community for being one of the best in the scene! We appreciate all your suggestions and feedback. ❤️

For this update, we took a closer look at some of the older stuff in the game to see if it needed a total makeover or just a few tweaks. Our goal was to make sure everything fits in with how Exora is now and provide more character benefits, rather than just upgrading equipment.

Not only that but, we're also introducing more discord integration which allows you to link your in-game account and donator rank to your discord. So you will no longer need to ask to update your rank. We'll also have an announcement channel that announces in-game events, such as world events and well of goodwill. We'll go more in to detail later on the update log.

+ Boss Task Revamp
Boss tasks have never really been worth it to do on Exora. While it should have, since it's much harder than regular slayer tasks. We decided to revamp boss tasks, so that it's much more worth it to do. Hanto (Boss task master) will now have his own boss task shop, and ability shop. Similar to slayer, but it will consume boss task points instead. Those abilities will help you with your boss tasks, and also enhance your boss task gameplay.

 + Boss task streaks
Boss tasks will now have their own streaks, it will no longer be linked to regular slayer. However, at the moment boss tasks and regular slayer are still linked. So you're not able to do a boss task while having a regular slayer task. This is something we may change in the future.

These are the streak counts and the amount of points you'll receive:
  - Streak 10: 1000 boss task points
  - Streak 25: 2500 boss task points
  - Streak 50: 5000 boss task points

 + Hanto Ability Shop
   + Special Drops
      - When on boss task, gain the ability to receive the following drops: - Hanto's Mystery Box, - 2.5-5m Coins, Scroll of Hanto and Hanto's Polish
      - Cost: 4550 Boss Points
   + Hardened Shield
      - Increases your defense against bosses by +10% while on boss task.
      - Cost: 3125 Boss Points
   + Boss Crusher
      - Increases your damage against bosses by +10% while on boss task.
      - Cost: 7500 Boss Points
   + Superior Fury
      - While on boss task, a superior version of the boss can be spawned.
      - Cost: 6500 Boss Points
   + Overdrive
      - Permanently increases your boss superior spawn rate by +5%
      - Cost: 30000 Boss Points
   + Hanto's Secret
      - Allows you to craft Hanto's potion. Hanto's potion has the effect of all grand potions combined in one.
      - Cost: 5000 Boss Points

 + Hanto Item Shop
   + Hanto's Polish
      - Hanto's polish can be used on a bluerite key to create a hanto's key. Hanto's key can be used on hanto's chest right beside him.
      - Cost: 750 Boss Points
   + Hanto's Mystery Box
      - A mystery box containing some of the rare rewards from Hanto's chest and boss superiors.
      - Cost: 1000 Boss Points
   + Enchanted Bone
      - Material to enchant the bonecrusher. Obtained from boss superiors, hanto chest and mystery box.
      - Bonecrusher (e) will automatically crush bones gaining the same experience as you would from the Altar.
      - Cost: 15000 Boss Points
   + Skeletal F*
      - A shoulder pet increasing your drop rate by +1.5%, heals 100-125 HP and restores prayer (every 10 seconds)
      - Cost: 15000 Boss Points
   + Cinder Lamps
      - XP lamps providing flat XP no matter the game mode.
      - Cost: 1.5-5k Boss Points

+ Hanto's Rewards & Items
   + Superior Fury Essence
      - Special material used at the titan forge. Guaranteed reward from boss superiors.
   + Hanto's Polish
      - Hanto's polish can be used on a bluerite key to create a hanto's key.
   + Hanto's Key
      - Hanto's key can be used to open hanto's chest, right beside him at slayer camp.
   + Scroll of Hanto
      - When read, gives your character 200-300 boss task points.
   + Warrior's Heart
      - Increases your melee strength by +8 for 5 minutes. Obtained from boss superiors, hanto chest and mystery box.
   + Arrowed Heart
      - Increases your ranged strength by +8 for 5 minutes. Obtained from boss superiors, hanto chest and mystery box.

   + Enchanted Bone
      - Material to enchant the bonecrusher. Obtained from boss superiors, hanto shop, hanto chest and mystery box.
   + Hanto's Memories
      - A special material to create the Bottomless Raid Potion, obtained from boss superiors.
   + Bonecrusher (e)
      - Automatically crush bones gaining the same experience as you would from the Altar.

   + Superior Fury (tr)
      - 10% chance to drop an additional superior fury essence. Obtained from boss superiors, hanto's chest and mystery box.
   + Hanto's Potion
      - Hanto's potion can be made by combining all grand potions in to one. By doing so it will create a new potion, which has 4 sips instead of 1.
      - Effect: Increases drop rate by +0.5%, Increases combat accuracy by +15%, Increases hitpoints by +200
      - Effect: 10% chance to Apply a DoT effect totaling 300 damage.
      - Duration: 10 minutes

+ Boss Superiors
You may get confused as to what boss has a superior version. Simply head over to: https://exora-rsps.fandom.com/wiki/Superiors to find a list of current boss superiors and their spawn rate.

Boss Superiors all have the same drop table, and guaranteed drops. The 100% drops are the following:
  - x1 Superior Fury Essence
  - x2.5-5m coins
  - x25-50 Titanite Shards
  - x1 Hanto's Potion (4)

If you're curious here's how some of the boss superiors look like!

+ Hanto's Chest
You can get various rewards from Hanto's chest, not just new items but also certain upgrades such as battle pets and mid-tier equipment.

+ Boss Task Changes
  - Added more bosses to the boss task list.
  - Significantly increased the amount of kills required for all boss tasks.
  - Significantly lowered extra boss task points you receive from your donator ranks.

+ FAQ:
 + Are slayer tasks linked with boss tasks?
   - Yes and no. You can't have a boss task while having a regular slayer task. However the rest of the system such as points, resetting of the task and shop are not linked.
 + If I reset my boss task do I lose my streak?
   - Yes, you will lose your boss task streak, but you will NOT lose your regular slayer task streak.
 + Does task reset scroll work with boss tasks?
   - Yes.
 + Can superiors spawn within an instance or monster spawner?
   - Yes.
 

+ Prestige Partial Revamp
Although the current Prestige system offers plenty of benefits and is in great shape, we felt that it was missing that extra something to really boost your gameplay. Given that prestiging requires a significant investment of time, we wanted to provide even greater rewards for players who put in the effort.

The base benefits of prestiging remain unchanged. However, you'll now receive 1 prestige point for each prestige you complete. These points can be spent in the prestige ability shop. Additionally, you'll continue to earn prestige points even when you rebirth.

Speak to the Prestige master, and open his Prestige Manager.

These are the following abilities in the Prestige shop. (Note: we're planning on adding more abilities along the way)

 + Increased Experience
    - Increases your overall experience gained by +10%
    - Cost: 7 Prestige Points
 + Increased HP
    - Permanently increases your HP by +75
    - Cost: 5 Prestige Points
 + Increased Prayer
    - Permanently increases your prayer points by +50
    - Cost: 5 Prestige Points
 + Increased Superior
    - Permanently increases your superior spawn rate by +1%
    - Cost: 11 Prestige Points
 + Increased Boss Superior
    - Permanently increases your boss superior spawn rate by +1%
    - Cost: 15 Prestige Points
 + Increased Success
    - Permanently increases your titan forge success rate by +1%
    - Cost: 20 Prestige Points
 + Increased Rift
    - Permanently increases your rift dungeon timer by +10 minutes.
    - Cost: 6 Prestige Points
 + Increased Defenses
    - Permanently increases your defensive absorb bonus by +2
    - Cost: 4 Prestige Points

    - Permanently increases your melee attack bonuses by +8
    - Cost: 5 Prestige Points

    - Yes.

 

+ Nirvana's Weaponry Set
Oh yeah, the new best in-slot weaponry set finally arrives! We don't take introducing BIS items lightly. For example the previous BIS goliath weaponry set was released exactly at 18th of February, 2022. It has been a whole year since the last BIS release. We felt this was the right time to release it, since there are enough goliath weaponry in the game for it to make sense.

The Nirvana Weaponry set will have to be forged, same as the goliath set. You'll find out more about its titan forge requirements later in this log. Let's talk about the weaponry, what do they do?

 + Nirvana's Sword
   - Fast attacks.
   - Will always double hit, with no downside to its second hit. Has a 50% chance to apply an additional hit, dealing 50% less damage.
   - Will deal AoE damage up to a 5x5 radius, capped to 4 monsters. This will only work in multi-zones.

 + Nirvana's Bow
   - Fast attacks.
   - Will always double hit, with no downside to its second hit. Has a 50% chance to apply an additional hit, dealing 50% less damage.
   - Will deal AoE damage up to a 5x5 radius, capped to 4 monsters. This will only work in multi-zones.

 + Nirvana's Staff
   - Fast attacks.
   - Will always double hit, with no downside to its second hit. Has a 50% chance to apply an additional hit, dealing 50% less damage.
   - You will no longer require blood runes, water runes and fire runes to cast such spells.

 

+ Titan Forge Changes & Additions
 + Fail-safe Secondary Ingredients
    - Added Superior Fury essence to the list of secondary ingredients. Meaning if a weakened fail-safe is used, and you fail, it may be halved.

     - Effect: Increases melee, ranged and magic strength by +12 for 5 minutes.

     - Success rate: 50%
   + Nirvana's Sword

+ Bottomless Raid & Titan Forge Potions
Aye it's that time again! New bottomless potions. As the name suggests, it's simply an infinite potion with no other extras. The effect remains the same, and cannot be stacked.

  + Bottomless Raid Potion
    - Increases your overall raid drop rate by +1%
    - Combine the following materials:
      - Argus plate: Argus Raid
      - Lietrye horns: Lietrye Raid
      - Faceless soul: Faceless Raid
      - Hanto's memories: Boss superior drops
    - Obtained from: Combining materials, Credit Shop

  + Bottomless Titan Forge Potion
    - Increases your titan forge success rate by +1%
    - Currently only obtained from the Credit Shop

Note: We plan on making an upgraded version of these, as the other bottomless potions have them as well!
 

+ Battle Pass Season 10
We're already at Season 10. Time really flies! For this battle pass we've added an extension rewarding you with superior essence. Specially made for the battle pass enjoyers 🙂

  - Lowered wildwood monster slayer task count.
  - Lowered celestial monster slayer task count.
  - Lowered magma monster slayer task count.

  - Lowered Points Tuesday event from 50% increased points to 25%.
  - Scroll of charges now tradeable and can be listed in trading post.
  - Added ::battlepet command guiding you to the battle pet wiki.
  - Added ::bottomless command guiding you to the bottomless potion wiki.
  - Added ::forgeguide command guiding you to the titan forge guide (updated, expect for the item list).
  - Barrelchest has now been changed to a 3 player multi-boss instead of 2.
  - Increased the item value of superior essence to 50M.
  - Removed pick-up options from gothmog and golden santa pet.
  - Significantly lowered wyvern bones experience from bonecrusher.

  - Moved Exorian nightmare from wilderness back to its original spot.
  - Lowered celestial fox and dark celestial monsters HP.

+ Sacrifice List
  - Added all dweller max, comp and trimmed capes to the sacrifice list.

  - Added iron, rune and dragon darts to the misc. shop.
  - Updated ironman guide shop dialogue to also contain the misc. shop.

+ Transmogrifier
  - Added heavy ballista to the transmogrifier
  - Added royal crown to the transmogrifier
  - Added Infused capes to the transmogrifier
  - Added regalia to the transmogrifier

+ Attendance Rewards
  - Added task reset scrolls to the attendance rewards.
  - Increased the amount of book of exora in the attendance rewards.

+ Dark Matter Completionist Cape
  - Added dark matter cape infusion with completionist and trimmed cape. It will use the dark matter cape stats.

 

+ Credit Shop
  - Added bottomless raid potion to the credit shop for: 15499 Credits
  - Added bottomless titan forge potion to the credit shop for: 9999 Credits

+ Discord Integration
We've been at work at better discord integration. Allowing you to easily link your in-game account to your discord account. It'll also update your donator rank with it, so you no longer have to ask to update your role. You'll also be able to use simple commands via discord. Here's how it works:
 + Account Linking
   - First head over in-game and do the command ::linkdiscord
   - Once you've done that, head over to general channel and type the command /verify
   - You're now verified and your donator rank on discord will also update.
 + Commands
    - /players (Shows the amount of players online)
    - /dayevent (will let you know the current event on a day)
 

+ Referral Program
We've decided to add a referral program, that will reward new players. It can only be used once per IP and Mac. There are only a set amount of refers that can be used. In order to claim your referral type the command ::ref sitenamehere. If you come from a toplist, then type the command + toplist name.

The referral program is only meant for beginners, as the rewards show. You'll receive x1 Daily Mystery Box and x1 Ring of Slaying
