We appreciate your feedback and suggestions. Keep them coming 🙂 Today the update mostly consists of the Halloween event, and some other general changes. The halloween event will run until 20th of November. You'll have plenty time to play the event through. Let's get to it! Halloween coupon codes! Limited amount of uses for the duration of the event. + Halloween 2022 Event The Halloween event brings us a new home map which is completely themed, an event quest, an event adventurer's log, 2 new world bosses, lots of custom monsters and a new area called the Nightmare dungeon. Let's start with a mini-guide on how the Event should be played. + Maggie's Quest A player must first start with Maggie's Quest in order to start receiving Halloween tokens from monsters in the nightmare dungeon. Halloween tokens can be used to purchase from Brother Jack's shop. Maggie will ask you to defeat monsters in the nightmare dungeon. Once you've killed the monsters, return back to Maggie to complete your quest. Completing the quest will grant you a Halloween mystery box, and the ability to receive drops from monsters in the nightmare dungeon. This quest is a repeatable quest, you'll be able to take this quest once every day for a halloween mystery box. (Note: You'll only have to complete the quest once in order to receive drops) To go to Maggie simply use the command ::halloween/::hween or use global teleports > dungeons > Nightmare. + General Jack General Jack is the newest World Boss in Exora. Only available for a limited time. Jack has a respawn rate of 3 hours, and is able to be spawned in via the world boss token. He has interesting mechanics, such as spawning a bunch of nightmare monsters at 50% HP, after the monsters have been killed Jack will do a trick-or-treat mechanic leaving the floor with lovely halloween candies and cakes. Those can be consumed for extra player benefits. To fight General Jack use the command ::genjack + Haunted Spider Another world boss you'll be able to defeat! The haunted spider will spawn every few hours. It attacks with range spells, and isn't too hard to kill. It spawns right in the middle of the Nightmare dungeon. Use the command ::spider to teleport to it. When the spider dies it sends halloween candies to the floor. + Halloween Tokens After completing Maggie's Quest, monsters at the Nightmare Dungeon will now always drop Halloween tokens. These monsters will drop anywhere between 50-150 per kill depending on the monster, however this amount can be enhanced with Halloween trinket. You will now also be able to receive Halloween tokens from general gameplay such as; Task Scrolls, Clue Scrolls, Dailies, Skill tasks and completing Slayer Tasks. + Halloween Emblems Emblems are a way for players to get more Halloween tokens while grinding out in the Nightmare dungeon. They have a 1% chance to drop from monsters in the area, and will only drop once Maggie's Quest has been completed. Emblems can be cut with chisels to turn in to Halloween tokens. You will be notified by a game message that an emblem has dropped. + Demon totem - When broken with a chisel gain 2500-5000 Halloween Tokens. + Skull artifact - When broken with a chisel gain 2000-4000 Halloween Tokens. + Vampire's sigil - When broken with a chisel gain 1500-3000 Halloween Tokens. + Well kept bones - When broken with a chisel gain 1000-2000 Halloween Tokens. + Large monster egg - When broken with a chisel gain 500-1000Halloween Tokens. + Halloween Adventurer's Log Some players don't even know adventurer's log exist. Just a reminder to check the log, and claim any rewards you may have missed. We've added a new book called Maggie's Book. This will only be in the log until the event has ended. Meanwhile, you can complete Halloween tasks to receive Halloween rewards. They're fairly easy, and you have a total of 5 tasks to complete for some goodies. If you don't know where it is simply go to Quest Tab > click on "Adventurer's Log" + Halloween RewardsLet's get to the juicy stuff! You'll be able to obtain lots of items to progress in the main content. We've added lots of battle pets, weaponry and equipment for the players. Mainly for beginner-mid tier players, but also some high-end gear. Other than that there are consumables and juicy cosmetics! + Halloween Consumables - Obtainable via Halloween mystery box, general jack and nightmare monsters. + Bowl of pumpkin treats - Allows you to feed a pet without the specific food required. + Bubbly blue drink - Acts as an overload. Consumes 1 sip and disappears after the first. However is stackable. + Bubbly red drink - Acts as a single aggression potion. + Caramel candy apple - Increases experience gained by +10% for 5 minutes. + Eyeball gummies - Increases Halloween token gained by +10% for 5 minutes. + Wiggly worm cake - Increases drop rate by +0.1% for 5 minutes. + Halloween Equipment + Shadow Ripper (t1) - Fast attacks + Shadow Ripper (t2) - Slightly faster than the t1 version. - 5% chance at hitting twice. Its second hit dealing 50% less damage. - Forge Requirement: Shadow Ripper (t1), 50K Halloween tokens. - Success chance: 100% + Shadow Ripper (t3) - Fast attacks. - 10% chance at hitting twice. Its second hit dealing 50% less damage. - Forge Requirement: Shadow Ripper (t2), 100K Halloween tokens. - Success chance: 50% + Bloody Bow (t1) - Allows arrows up to rune. + Bloody Bow (t2) - Allows arrows up to dragon. - 5% chance at hitting twice. Its second hit dealing 75% less damage. - Forge Requirement: Bloody bow (t1), 50K Halloween tokens. - Success chance: 100% + Bloody Bow (t3) - Allows arrows up to dragon. - 10% chance at hitting twice. Its second hit dealing 50% less damage. - Forge Requirement: Bloody bow (t2), 100K Halloween tokens. - Success chance: 50% + Skulled Staff (t1) - Has its own basic spell ability. + Skulled Staff (t2) - Fast attacks. Has its own basic spell ability. - Forge Requirement: Skulled Staff (t1), 50K Halloween tokens. - Success chance: 100% + Skulled Staff (t3) - Casts spells twice as fast. Does not have its own special ability. Casts spells refers to magic book. - Forge Requirement: Skulled Staff (t2), 100K Halloween tokens. - Success chance: 50% + General Jack's Melee Set - A strong melee set, including shadow pumpkin helmet - Obtained from monsters in the Nightmare dungeon, halloween shop, Halloween mystery box and world bosses. + Spooky Range Set - A strong range set - Obtained from monsters in the Nightmare dungeon, halloween shop, Halloween mystery box and world bosses. + Spooky Magic Set - A strong magic set - Obtained from monsters in the Nightmare dungeon, halloween shop, Halloween mystery box and world bosses. + Haunted Rapier - 14% chance to apply an additional hit. Additional hit has 50% reduced damage. - Obtained from the Haunted Spider world boss. + Haunted Spider Wings - Hybrid stat wings - Obtained from the Haunted Spider world boss. + Halloween Misc./Cosmetics + Pumpkin F* (Shoulder Pet) - Increases EXP rate by +50% when worn. - Obtainable; General Jack World Boss, Credit Shop + Halloween 2022 trinket - Increases Halloween tokens gained by +25% when equipped. + Skeleton throne - Applies a permanent skeleton throne when resting your character. + Majora's Mask - Cosmetic + Pyramid Helmet - Cosmetic + Spooky Cape - Cosmetic + Jack's Sword - Fast attacks. + Executioner's Blade - Fast attacks, 2-handed. + Gilded Executioner's Blade - Cosmetic back item + Halloween Battle Pets + Golden Battle Pets (Limited until 20th of November) + Golden General Jack Pet - 10% chance to apply an additional special hit. - Hits: x3 - Obtainable from the General Jack world boss, Halloween mystery box and Credit shop. + Golden Haunted Spider Pet - 10% chance to apply an additional special hit. - Hits: x3 - Obtainable from the Haunted Spider world boss, Halloween mystery box and Credit shop. + Golden Death Pet - 10% chance to apply an additional special hit. - Hits: x2 - Obtainable from the General Jack, Haunted Spider world boss, Halloween Shop, Halloween mystery box and Credit shop. + General Jack Pet - Melee combat, deals double melee special attack damage. + Haunted Spider Pet - Range combat, deals double special attack damage. + Death Pet + Skeleton Ripper Pet + Ripper Zombie Pet + Majora's Pet + Giant Shadow Hand That's it for the Halloween 2022 Event! We'll get start to get ready for the Christmas events! + Undying Vengeance Rewards - Added Dark lord equipment to the UV drop table. - Added Solari equipment to the UV drop table. - Added Neon equipment to the UV drop table. - Slightly increased the drop rate of the rarest drop table. - Removed enchantment of the kings from the UV soulcage. + Drop Catcher & Alchemizer - You're now able to view all the items listed within your drop catcher, and alchemizer. - You can now see how many items are in your list, and the amount of items within the pages. + Trading Post Withdrawals Thank you for your feedback. We've changed it so if your coffer holds more than max cash, it'll now ask you to withdraw it in bills bags now. You can no longer withdraw more than max cash from your coffer. + Exo Points You'll now receive Exo points for completing a slayer task. These are the following amounts you'll receive based on slayer master: - Spria, Vannaka, Mazchna: 200 Exo points - Chaeldar, Sumona: 400 Exo points - Kuradal: 750 Exo points + Changes - Lowered damage output of superior monsters. (Has been live already) - Lowered the HP bonus of dweller equipment. (Has been live already) - Added HP bonus to Faceless, Undying and Vengeful equipment. (Has been live already) - Lowered virtus book magic attack bonus. - Removed enchantment of the kings from the Undying Vengeance soulcage. - Lowered attack requirement of demonic glaives to 77 attack. - Lowered attack requirement of monster hunter handaxe to 80 attack. + Fixes - Fixed an issue with unwalkable tiles in the Dark Matter cave, at the salamander hunting area. - Fixed an issue with unwalkable tiles in the Master Zone. - Fixed an issue with auto retaliate not properly working against certain monsters. + Credit Shop - Added the 'Halloween' category in the credit shop. - Added Golden pets, and other halloween related items to the credit shop.
