Pet Guide

Introduction:

Most pets in Exora that you find are able to fight alongside you! There are a few exceptions such as skilling pets which are not battle pets and are unable to fight.

Everybody starts with a basic battle pet; The Pretty sad goblin pet. Pets will automatically follow you and fight alongside you when you drop them from your inventory. When you examine your pet when it is following you, it will bring up the Battle Pet interface.

If for any reason you don't want your pet to fight, you can disable their ability to fight:

You can make different armours and rings at the Titan Forge, or find an enchantment, that you can equip on your pet. Any pet equipment requires the pet to be a certain level to use.

If you happen to receive a pet;

- and you currently do not have a follower the pet will automatically start following you.

- and you already have a follower then the pet will be deposited into your bank.

Pets may provide some bonus to your drop rate. While fighting your pets Parent (drop source - except raids chests) you will receive a bonus 0.25% drop rate.

Pet armours and rings may be viewed and forged at the Titan Forge (South of Home) by navigating to the 'Pets' category.

All pet armours have a 100% success rate to make; Pet ring forge success rate ranges from 25% (lowest tier) to 60% (highest tier)

You will require armour 'plates' which may be gained by breaking them down using a hammer on applicable pieces of equipment; Different pieces of armour may give slightly differing amounts of plates. The number of plates received per armour type is as follows:

All Bandos/Armadyl godwar armour pieces will give 1 Godwars plate

Infernal Guard Helmet & Platelegs give 1 Infernal plate; Infernal Guard Platebody gives 2 Infernal plates

Every ring forged will use a Reinforced ring base. To craft one of these you must have 85 smithing & use a Ring mould (can be bought from the Misc. shop) and 15 Lava bars. Using the Ring mould on a furnace with 15 Lava bars in your inventory will give you a Reinforced ring base.

While training some skills in Exora, you have a chance at receiving a pet relating to the skill being trained. These 'Skilling Pets' give you 10% bonus XP in the pets respective skill while it is following you.
