We've been working on a neat cosmetic overrides system for Exora. Allowing you to change your appearence, but still keep your bonuses of your items. Should make for some fun costumes! How it works: You can change the appearence of your equipped items by equipping an item in the transmog interface. By doing so it will equip the item you are using for cosmetics in your transmog equipment. (You will need to have the item in your inventory.) There are pre-set items in the transmog interface, with all categories except the ring slot. You are also able to preview items and see how they look on your character. Note: There will be a lot more items in the Transmogrifier! Here's some media:

To start mining, go to 'global teleport' -> 'skilling' -> 'mining' or then teleport to 'skill zone' and run to the northeast. On the right, you will find a house with furnace and anvil, enter the house and speak to 'Dwarf'. With him you can buy all the pickaxes from bronze to rune. By mining it you receive Elemental chunks, which you can use to create elemental dusts. (Requires 99 crafting). In this case of mining, you can receive the mining outfit, which gives more exp. at the end of the achievements, you will receive full prospector outfit, 81m, 4 small lamps and 1 mystery box, 6500 Achievements Points and Exo Points PS: No experience boost was added. Hello Exorians, It's time for another update log! We've added a new group boss, brought in gameplay changes and general additions/bug fixes. We're still looking for a few more serious beta testers. And we're getting quite closer to release. Stay tuned on our official discord. + Argus Argus is the new group boss introduced in Exora. He can only be damaged with Melee and Magic. He has 4 phases where you will have to damage his shield with magic. Argus's melee attacks can only hit players in front of him, so a tank would be needed to keep aggro. Argus can randomly hit a massive aoe attack dealing a bleeding effect to players, if they are under a bleeding storm. Note: The following media shown is still in the works, and will likely have some changes such as rewards. Here's how it looks: + Events We've added a new area for hosting our events. You can teleport here via the global teleports. Cities > Events. + Skill Zone Changes Added a new path to the house teleport. Removed the farming patches. You will now have to talk to the farming master to teleport to farming patches around Exora. Servants are now behind the house teleport. + Vote Book Changes We feel as though the vote book gave way too many overpowered buffs. Vote book will now give you 1 vote point upon claiming it. The extra benefits are now spread out through other books, obtained via voting, events or loot boxes. - Book of exora (increased hit rate by 10%, drop rate and double xp for 10 mins) - Book of wisdom, doubles experience gained for 10 minutes. - Book of wealth, increases drop rate for 10 minutes. - Book of strength, increased hit rate by 10% for 10 minutes. + Coal Bag You can now store your coal in the coal bag. The limit is 100 coal. Obtained via an achievement reward. (Easy Task) The coal bag can not be lost in the wilderness, nor can you drop it. Coal bag allows you to also smelt ores without taking the coal to your inventory. + Achievements - A new construction achievement: Build a kitchen room in your house. - A new construction achievement: Build a throne room in your house. - A new achievement "Smelt 50 iron bars". Reward: coal bag. + Abyssal Armour Abyssal armour will now reflect 10% of incoming damage, if the full set is equipped. It is obtained from abyssal horrors. + Dark Matter Demons - Dark matter demons now have 15k hitpoints as they are high end monsters. - Lowered dark matter demons attack speed. + Hecarim - Added hecarim's greataxe, slightly faster than a regular greataxe, hits twice and has a 5% chance of hitting an extra hit. Rare drop from hecarim. - Added hecarim's bow, same speed as rest of high tier bows. Uses arrows up to dragon. Hits twice however the 2nd hit is slightly less damage. Rare drop from hecarim. + Gothmog (Firelands) Gothmog will now update the kill count for all participants up to 5 players. Gothmog now has increased hitpoints, a total of 50k. Gothmog attack delay, defensive bonuses have been nerfed. Gothmog prayer flicks have been removed. + Changes - Soulsplit will now heal slightly less than normal. - Removed the ability to skill for exo points. - Removed the ability to obtain angelic/demonic aura wings from the game. The new starter wings are obtained from the Vote shop or other drops, very easy to obtain. - Removed the ability to obtain twisted bow from the game. (There are plenty alternatives) - Removed armadyl runes from the magic shop. Now only obtainable via Glacors. - Removed the special attack bar from certain weapons that don't have a special attack. - Removed the talk option from pets. - Renamed a lot of pets' names to better fit the pet. - Changed the item requirement for certain weapons and equipment. - Changed the item inventory look from lots of items to look more natural. - Dravonic demon attack bonuses buffed and will also deal magic damage. - Added an option for the Altar to switch back to moderns (Wasn't clear enough that you could switch back). - Undead dragon completionist cape requirement changed to 250, previously 500. - Gothmog completionist cape requirement changed to 1, previously 10. - Leaving the house portal now sends you outside of the house portal in the skill zone. - Tree seeds are now obtainable via monster drops. - Lowered all farming patch time per stage. Hunter/Cooking/Herblore/Woodcutting now allows you to create various food buffs and potions that give you benefits when eaten/drank. + Hunter These new hunter monsters, when caught give you their respective item. They can be used to make various buff foods and potions. - Lava Kebbit Lava kebbit can be caught in the magma dungeon. Level 65 hunter, and a lava trap box is required in order to catch it. Once caught they will take 2 minutes to respawn. - Frost Ferret Frost ferrets can be caught in the blurite dungeon, near the ebonchill dragons. Level 76 hunter, and a frost trap box is required in order to catch it. Once caught they will take 2 minutes to respawn. - Void Salamander Void salamanders can be caught in the dark matter cave directly east from when you teleport in the dungeon. Level 85 hunter, and a void trap box is required in order to catch it. Once caught they will take 2 minutes to respawn. * Trap boxes can be bought in the hunter shop, at skilling zone. + Woodcutting Enchanted stones are items that are acquired via cutting gem stone trees. They are randomly given. These enchanted gems can be used to grind them to enchanted dusts. They can be ground to dust via pestle & mortar The following enchanted gems are currently obtainable: - Enchanted opal (Opal gem tree) (Lvl 65 herblore needed to grind with pestle & mortar) - Enchanted ruby (Ruby gem tree) (Lvl 76 herblore needed to grind with pestle & mortar) - Enchanted dragon stone (Dragonstone gem tree) (Lvl 85 herblore needed to grind with pestle & mortar) + Herblore You can now use herblore to create the new potions that will give you lots of good buffs while playing. They can not be stacked, and you will only be able to drink it again once the effect wears off. Level 95 herblore is required to make these potions. - Grand Drop Rate Potion Increases your total drop rate by 0.1% for 15 minutes. The potion only contains 1 sip, so use wisely! (If you're unaware what heirlooms are in Exora, they are an extra equipment slot that can be used for them) without sacrificing other equipment. - Couldron of venom Every 2 minutes you have a 10% chance while in combat, to poison the target with a bleed effect, dealing 200 damage. 1 minute cooldown. - Lightbringer's sigil You have a 10% chance while in combat if the targets hitpoints is below 50% to call down a lightning strike dealing 50-100 damage. - Death's grip When an attack hits you that gets you below 100 hitpoints, have a 25% chance to heal back to full health. 2 minute cooldown. (Obtained from Zombie Storm Shop) - Miner's jewel You have a 10% chance of mining double the ores when this heirloom is equipped. - Fire balls A cosmetic item that has fire balls glowing behind the player. (Loyalty shop) + Agility Wilderness agility course has been added, and is an extra way to earn agility experience. + Argus We made some changes to Argus regarding its drops. - Argus will now have socria weaponry in its drop table. - Argus now has the scythe of the unmaker (cosmetic) in its drop table. - Argus now has the mask of the unmaker(cosmetic) in its drop table. + Zombie Storm Zombie storm has received some changes to its shop and NPC. - You can now ask the zombie master your zombie kill count. - Lowered the overall prices of items in shop. - Added the new Zombie King equipment set to its shop. To fish, you need some equipment to do so. some fish need different equipment to be caught. To buy these equipment, you have to talk to the Master Fisher, who is at the fishing locations ('Global teleports' -> 'Skilling' -> 'Fishing'). In some fish, it has to be fished with feathers, these feathers you can buy at ;;Home, talking to Tools shop (with the tools shop you can buy fishing equipment). I can understand this idea of shaping your account but the issue is that RS has never been a type of game where your account was molded into 1 specific way. You can be a mage, warrior, or ranger at any time you want and there isn't a talent system (much like WoW) to enforce that. I could see a system like this being used for possibly skilling and maybe some other misc things but I don't think I'd make it to hone in on 1 type of gameplay. This Idea can be saved for a future date but I don't think it would be before release.

I do like the extra tasks and it does somewhat go with my suggestion, the biggest drawback here is the player progress remains linear. every player will eventually be able to unlock them all. This takes away from players ability to mold the character around their playstyle. But, If you're dead set on this system i will for sure have many ideas to help transition it from an overlooked feature to "must-have" character goals. Once i am able to play that is =D

After the unfortunate events that followed the successful private server I was forced back to playing the official client again.
